Good price. But should these even be called "PROTEIN bars"?

16g carbs, 8g dietary fiber, 2g sugar, 3g sugar alcohol, 6g fat, only 6g protein.
"Protein bars"... "6g Protein"... 🤣
I'm convinced the folks behind Fiber One (General Mills?) fired their marketing department... from using soy protein in this (if you're going to go plant based, it best be something like pea) & eliminating 20 calories from the Fiber One Brownies (from amazing to god awful).

They're going to sink this Fiber One brand...

My grocery outlet has pallets of this brand bars for 99 cents. A couple flavors available. Didn't notice they have sugar alcohol before I bought them :/

I saw that my local Safeway had these on clearance yesterday. I'm wondering if they've been discontinued? I looked at the nutritional info and came to the same conclusion.

$2.50 at target via same-day order services, in case you
a) like these despite the fact that they are in no way a health food product (I do);
b) have a target near you;
c) want to get them without all the chocolate melting in the summer heat in transit or on your doorstep;
d) can afford to give up the $0.15 of savings per box

The new recipe is disgusting. I mean revolting. Why did they screw with the original?

Unless it has atleast 14g of protein I don't really consider it a protein bar.
