Nothing special? This baby can be taken for a 72hr swim in the coldest and hotest seawater on earth. Back in my day we didn't even classify our flash drives by gravitational acceleration. How do magnets even work?! Xrays?! Honestly, what doesn't it do?

Make the jump to SSDs for portable storage 128 GB and above. Not as small, but a hell of a lot faster with a controller onboard. Minimal price increase.

Flash drives were designed with the intention of moving around small documents. Manufacturers just kept increasing storage size without addressing the painfully slow write speeds.

I think this price is the new normal for 128GB. They also have the 256GB for $35 [amazon.com] which is possibly a better deal, but if you check the graphs on Camel, they're both on a downward trend.

They all get hot. You cant feel the heat as much through plastic cases so people tell you how much cooler their drive is when its just the case insulating the heat.

I find myself curious about the scenario that allowed chocolate to melt on your flash drive

This is SSD in the flash drive form factor. I wear ut on a keyring.
Has all the benefits of normal SSDs: fast r\w speed, access time, SMART status, etc.

I bought one of these a few months ago for a Windows To Go drive and it worked nicely. I picked this one for the fast speeds. I needed to temporarily run some Windows software on my unRAID box and this made it easy.
For those interested in doing this, you can use Rufus and a Windows 10 ISO to create one - https://www.intowindows.com/rufus...usb-drive/
