Just remember that vented AC units like this create negative pressure in a home and that hot air just leaks back in through other means, hence why even though their efficiency may look good on paper, the hot air from outside your room/house that has to fill the void from the exhausted air.

They obviously work to cool a room, but the cost to operate is leaps and bounds beyond normal AC units. The ones with a cold air intake and a powered vent have great efficiency because there isn't negative air pressure.

Those are both 6700 BTU.
This one is 12000 BTU.
They are half as powerful as the one in this deal.
The square footage figure is arbitrary and irrelevant, the only thing that matters is BTU.
