In Store Only ,

From what i can see this is a instore only deal. Weekly ad has it priced at $119.99 and says instore only on the ad. Yet when i was in the store last night @Torrance Harbor- Gateway location. I saw it priced at $99.99. Thought this was a pretty good deal since its a Western Digital 1TB SSD mypassport Go! plus a 64GB Sandisk included to make it a bundle.

Sooooo these normally go for say, $140ish, without the extra little 64GB jump drive? Not bad

Review says this is kind of slow:

But still, prob worth it given the price discount if you're in the market and not constantly writing to it

I would say just get a WD 1tb blue internal ssd via WD website which is about $94.50 after the 10% sign up discount. You can always buy an external case for it, gives you an option to use it as an internal drive if you decided to use it as that later on, you get a 5 year warranty rather than 3, and its a faster drive.

Is WD site still giving sign up discount 10%? (Where does it say they do that)
I only see it says you get a free 32gb flash drive for orders over $100.

When I go to https://shop.westerndigital.com/ and hover over one of the menu options ("SHOP", "EXPLORE", or "SUPPORT"), I get an option at the bottom to "Get 10% OFF Your Next Order. Sign up for our newsletter and receive a coupon for your next order." You can click that link and enter your email address. A little hard to find, but it should still be working.

You can also get a 15% student/teacher discount if you have a valid email (doesn't have to be the same email that you use for the Western Digital store/newsletter). Go to https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...-discounts and click "Join Now" and it will take you to another website where you sign up. I used my old .edu email from college and it worked for the 15% discount since I had used the 10% discount earlier this year.

Can 10% sign up discount and 15% student discount combine?

I never tried it, but the codes say they cannot be combined with other codes.

Dang, wish I'd have seen this when it was $99. It's $129, now. Still a nice deal, but, not as good as $99!!!
