If you bought it within a month ago, you can fill out this form for the price adjustment:

https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders

I just submitted mine.

After doing tons of research about network speeds, coverage, backhaul support, etc., I settled on either this, the M9 Plus, or two Nest Wifi Routers (not the router and point combo). For the price, and the coverage, I chose this and don't have any regrets. Love the app control and visibility. Coverage is great in my approx 2,900 sq/ft house two story house with basement. Reaches out to a Eufy doorbell, 2 Wyze cams outside, and about 30+ connected devices inside. Very happy. And Costco return policy makes it a no brainer. I paid $199 for this at the beginning of the pandemic. If it had been $179, I would have debated way less.

No mesh carries it, the manufactures assume these are for more entry level users. Anyone that wants sharing on an network will either have a external hard drive with cloud feature, or a NAS. You also have the option of just plugging it into a computer that's always on and sharing it through that too.

Can always get the dual band X60 wifi 6 model than for $70 more.

X60 will give you better performance in general and is more future proof. People put a lot of emphasis on the triband vs dual band, but most dont realize in a lot of situations dual band will work almost identical to tri band. Only in situations where you pass almost max throughput on the network or have very strong wireless interference will performance get impacted. Also for those who are using ethernet backhaul its a non issue.

Interested but it doesn't support wifi6, so why invest in this? I get most people are using older 802.11a/ac/g/n stuff but if you're replacing I would think you would go with something that supports 802.11ax.

Happened to me too. Search customer service Costco price adjustment and should gives you the link
I just submitted, but the form seems to only support costco.com orders and I picked mine up from the club. I just entered a generic order number in that field, my fear is that I wait 5-7 days for them to tell me they couldn't located the order, although, in my experience, Costco employees go the extra step to look in my actual membership purchase history and find it.

This has a USB port, but it's not functional other than for charging devices. How does one connect an external 3.0 USB hard drive to a Mesh Network Router system. Few if anyone seem to have the ability to connect a USB Hard Drive in order to create a media drive. Any recommendations or thoughts would be helpful.

Thank you!
I would be interested in this also.

You might need to look elsewhere then, it was stated that the USB port would be usable in future updates (whenever that is). I was hoping to connect a printer using the USB to save a port but disappointed that i have to buy a switch to connect to this instead.

Its a router system it will work with any provider, you will not see a full 1Gbps speed on wireless from it though. You need top of the line wifi 6 equipment to getting max speeds on wireless.

I've have this for coming up on a year and have had zero issues. Best network setup I've ever had. People say it runs hot but I have them all in the open and never felt they were overheating, only warm to the touch. Either way performance or stability has not been affected due to heat.

I bought the M9 back in June.

Performance has been good, though the internet has dropped out on my desktop on wifi a number of times. However, I think this is a desktop issue and not a M9 issue as my work laptop is unaffected.

One issue that is concerning was the lack of a web interface for management. The most recent firmware has added in a web interface (before there was none) but it's extremely limited in functionality. Also have some concerns about not being able to change settings when the network doesn't have an internet connection. I'm not sure if this is intended or if this is something else that had issues.

It's definitely not a router for power users but it has all the basic functionality you'd expect.

start a chat...you're within 90 day return period...so do you want to price adjust or should I return and re-buy? a reasonable rep would agree to price adjust. Good luck.

If it's more than a month, I would buy another one and return it in store using the 1st receipt if you think $20 saving is worth the effort.
