There's more sugar than protein in the nutrition info so it's not both low in sugar and high in protein. It's better than a candy bar but it's still not great macros.

Looking at the link you posted. one box of them from target is 6.99 w/o tax. Amazon link is on sale which is 12.80.
Target pricing
6.99 / 5 = ~1.39 per bar
Amazon pricing
17.04 - 20% = 13.63
13.63 / 12 = ~1.13
If you do subscribe and save :
17.04 - 25% (coupon + SS together) = 12.78
12.78 / 12 = ~1.06 per bar
I would say it's close to $1 a bar.
