OTOH, this isn't a brand I'd trust. And in that case, the word is 'you get what you pay for' ... when does a "good" deal become a bad one..? Think about it.
We stick with APC and CyberPower for UPS (uninterupted power supply) and surge protection. There are some other good companies that offer a high amount of coverage if equipment is damaged. But then, you pay a bit more.
Would I buy it for a cheap extension/break out power strip? Yes
With any surge protector most people think they can plug all their things in safely when there is usually a certain amount of watts each surge protector can handle when multiple devices are switched on (from what I've read -I'm no electrician). I have an avr receiver with 2 subs, an Xbox, and various other roku-like stuff that I split up between 2 name brand surges, putting hi wattage stuff separately. If I were you I would buy multiples of a more reputable brand and split the power up. I might buy the surge listed here to use as an extension to a cheap floor fan or alarm clock.

Yeah I wish we could turn off all Walmart YMMV posts. There isn't even a Walmart where I live and when I do happen to be near one they never have these deals. They just seem quite rare.
What color is the box?
