I offered $2000 and $2099 was the counter. They will not budge below $2099. But, I am still happy since I saved almost $1000.

Anyone tried to go for the 55" model? Wondering what would be a realistic offer for it?

I'm scared to even try at this price. It would be awesome deal if accepted.

How is Sony with panel replacement in case of a burn in? Is it like LG?

Not very familiar with Greentoe, but seems like the worst they could do is counteroffer or reject your offer, right?

No HDMI 2.1. A deal killer for some. It is for me. If you need HDMI 2.1 and want it cheaper, the Vizio 65" OLED will be $1999.

Amazon price just went down to $2300 overnight. Hmmm. I really want this TV, but hard to drop this amount and no hdmi 2.1 for new consoles.

Can someone tell me whether the A8H is better then the A9G... model hierarchy this year seems odd...

No Gsync support for PC gaming, No VRR support for consoles. Might be a deal killer for some.

Overall, the Sony A8H OLED is slightly better than the Sony A9G OLED. They both perform very similarly, but the A8H can get a lot brighter, it has better out-of-the-box color accuracy, and its input lag is much lower. However, if you use your TV as a PC monitor and you need native support for a 1440p resolution, then you're better off with the A9G.

A9G has center speaker mode (speaker wire connections that let it be the center channel for a separate receiver). A8H doesn't.

Rumored A9H (true sequel to A9G) was cancelled (never announced), so thats part of the odd hierarchy this year.
