You might already know this, but depending on the model of Pi, you might need 2.5amps or more. I don't think a monitor with usb would be able to power that.
I've had to run an external power supply in the past for my smart mirror project at least with a raspberry pi 3+

This was a good monitor for wfh situation but pretty quickly it made me want to upgrade to qhd. I was able to sell it for $80 after 3 months of use.

Edit: looks like the main difference I see is TN vs IPS panel. Use would primarily be school/work from home.

IPS is considered to give a better picture, but generally costs more and is slower than TN. But since the price and speeds are the same, no reason not to go with the Acer IPS. Unless you have a brand preference, or $10 is a big difference to you.
