Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

The shifts we need filled are:
1)Monday through Friday 11am to 7pm (Pacific Time Zone!)Being filled internally- watch for new QA position to be posted 
2) 10pm-6am (Pacific) Friday through Monday and then you can choose either Tues., Wed., or Thurs to fill out your work schedule. We are flexible on which one that is at this point.
Both of these schedules could have an hour +/- wiggle room to start for the right candidate.
*The first 2 months of training on these positions would need to take place during the day hours...roughly 6am to 2pm Pacific (lots more wiggle room there too).
All mod, QA and DE positions are paid and include PTO, optional medical packages as well as the ability to put into a 401K.
- Keeping an eye on the popular deals section to see what needs to be prepped for our FrontPage.
- Assess the deals by comparison pricing with other stores on the web, recent past deals on SD, etc..
- Updating FP deals as needed (e.g. editing when items in multi-item deals expire or adding more items).
- Handling emails.
- Using Google docs.
- Know how to use basic forum (WYSIWYG) editing interface.
To be considered for a DE position you must excel in these areas:
- Good standing on the site
- Track record of posting deals members love.
- Understanding of how to write up a deal for the best reception in the community.
- Get along well with moderators, deal editors, QA team and other members.
