I have a 34" LG ultra wide. If you are working with Windows, there are built in shortcuts that help.
<Windows Key>+ <right arrow> will make an application take the right side of the screen. +<left arrow> left side. <up arrow> top half, taking the full width.
I usually run application side-by-side using left and right arrow shortcuts, thus have two nice sized windows on the screen at once.
urlhasbeenblocked 34" Ultrawide Curved Monitor for $319.99 NO TAX - Free Shipping is a deal. For some reason Slickdeals has a beef with urlhasbeenblocked so they wont let me attach a link.
No hint as to who urlhasbeenblocked actually is? Don't need a direct link

I currently use a dual monitor setup with a docking station and can Cmd+Tab to move between the monitors. Will I be able to do that on this?
I don't want to show both my monitors on screenshares therefore asking. Thanks.
I paid $400 for this a month or so ago and would pay it again. I also purchased an Asus 34" and MSI 32" 4k curved, both were really bad color-wise and returned. I'm a programmer and don't use it for gaming or like the curve.

I am a programmer too (salesforce). You mean you like the curve or not? Also, do we have to share the whole screen on video calls or we can do just a virtual section? Like one monitor from a dual monitor setup?
Thanks.
How does this work with Zoom screen share. If the other party doesn't have an ultrawide, would it show up as tiny? That would be a deal breaker for me.

Nah. Curved is a gimmick. I prefer lack of distortion in my images. Thank god the curved tv trend is all but over. Curved only really makes sense if you're in an imax theatre

It'll show your screen wide and skinny in their screen. You might be able to change aspect ratio when presenting though . I haven't figured that out yet, I have a 29 inch and it's wide and skinny when screen sharing
False. There is no hot key, no dos command, and no hot fix for a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich. I know this because I tried really really hard to make this happen.
You can always set up a macro for that. Granted, you will need a few extra hardware for this.

VA panels also have image degradation at large angles. Curved VA panels negate this.

This Samsung? The 34" Acer from Costco? Or the $35" Scepter....
Of course the price is going up at the same time
usage: WFH, coding, gaming. Pro worker, subpar coder and gamer.
Stupid $.
You can overclock it to play fps games and then downclock for regular games, so you prolong the life of the monitor.
