Anyone know if the mods for KOTOR2 will work on GOG like they do on Steam? We're still running Windows 8 on our main computer because of WMC, and Steam is no longer playing nicely with it. A lot of the reviews say to install it, but most of them sound like they were basing it on older, non-GOG software, so I'm not sure whether it works

It was originally a Nintendo 64 game, and a pretty good one at that.

If you have a joystick you should play tie fighter. There are a lot of great star wars games but tie fighter is a low-key classic.

This game was impossible as a kid but that Hoth flying level was so much fun back in the day

Shadows of the Empire was the big multimedia push that Lucas made to check feasibility for another trilogy. The game isn't that good, but it was a hit. I read the book version.

Try Pod Racer as an adult. They did a higher resolution higher frame rate version that's available on modern consoles. There's only one course that is hard. I couldn't beat it as a kid, but can as an adult.

I forgot that was originally a book. Too bad a game based on it wasn't as good. I remember playing it at a friend's house but couldn't get past the damn Hoth level with the tow cables.
