    My son is 7 now and loves loves the entire Percy Jackson universe (including Book #1 of this series), we've been reading them since he was 6.

    They'll likely go on sale before the release of 5 in October. Most of his series have pretty much gone on sale.right before the release of the newest book. I don't think I've paid more than $2 for any of the e-books.

    My 9 year old loves the entire Percy Jackson world, thanks! I always have him read the descriptions / first page (if in a store) to me to see if he can do it. So far so good.

    My son started w Percy Jackson (The series before this) at 8. He's a book worm though. He's 11 now and still loves them. I'm 43 and I love them too.

    Both of my sons started reading Rick Riordan at 10 (The Percy Jackson series). Both did not like reading at the time and only read it because that was the requirement to get some screen time. Both have since torn through everything Rick Riordan has written and sometimes they even prefer reading to TV or video games. One son is now 11 and the other is now 13. Still crazy for Rick Riordan. God bless that man!
