Good tools, good deal, no matter how many times it comes up. Unfortunately for me I purchased each individually over the years and spent more.

I bought the set on the last sale.

I am very happy with the lopper, it cuts really well.

Quote from JamesA8887 :
Now everyone has pole saws and battery powered hedge trimmers. These tools look like hard work, and people must not be into that kind of thing these days.
I don't have hedges. I have this set. For tree shoots and other overgrowth.

Most people, myself included, aren't afraid of a little hard work. It helps to not waste your energy yelling at clouds.

Same price at Home Depot. Also, hold out for the gear drive version of the hedge trimmers, MUCH easier to use.

I got these last time. It's very useful where hedge trimmers can't do much.

FWIW I had a Fiskars tool fail recently and have been trying to get them to replace it under the lifetime warranty for a month. I wouldn't buy this and expect the warranty to be worth much.

You're probably better off buying the Fiskar compound loppers for most limb work. They're excellent and so much easier to use at the higher end of their abilities.
