I have both the DR02 D and DR02 J and both lose their memory and reset in the Southern California heat even though they claim to have super capcacitors. While their customer service is excellent, i'm tired of getting a replacement every few months.

When the memory is lost, it goes back to the default menu and stops recording while it's there. I can't recommend any of their dash cams.

Excellent camera, bought one over a year ago from a SD on heavy recommendations from just about every written & video in-depth review I saw prior to purchase and haven't been disappointed. It's by far the best one we've owned and we've been through several.

My Spytec a119 had that glare problem too until i bought a UV filter which made a huge difference.

Might get this one for the price, but i thought it's been lower than this in the past?

can you buy or make your own polarized filter for it? i'm thinking of using polarized sunglass lens to make a filter for my garming. it costs $30+. too much

Agree that there is some glare especially on sunny days with a black dash but a good dash cam nonetheless. It's been two years and no problems with the cam or SD card not recording.

Do you mean a polarizing filter? Those will make nighttime footage dark and grainy.

Someone at DashCamTalk [dashcamtalk.com] posted that the Viofo A129 CPL filter [amazon.com] will fit this Aukey. I have the Duo version of this dashcam already and like it.
