These should qualify for the step-up program too right? Pretty low risk with the next Nvidia cards being announced Sept 1
also these come with rainbow 6 siege. Just a general FYI
edit: these do indeed qualify for EVGA step-up. Checked with EVGA
So, essentially you will pay msrp for a newly launched gpu in a month or two. Thats the opposite of slick.
The better thing to do is buy a 2070S or better as they are getting cleared out in the next several months and keep it or wait for a BF/holiday sale on a new gen gpu.
Expected arrival day is 9/10 for me, so for anyone thinking of EVGA step-up, might as well just wait? RTX3000 series will be announced on 9/1, though it's unclear when they'll be available in retail.

Last leak I saw was that it would be a paper launch on Tuesday, with Founders Edition availability on the 21st and third party AIBs available on the 28th. But there's also a lot of talk that the launch is only going to be the 3090 and 3080, with the 3070 to follow some time later. So buy this now to hold me over until BF or when 3070 starts shipping? Buy a 1650 Super now to get me over the hump with Jedi Fallen Order and Star Wars Squadrons until we get lots more RTX 3000-series availability? Such an annoying spot to be in, because we're likely at least a month or more away from getting RTX 3000-series hardware in our hands, and it will most likely be at a premium still.
Ugh 3000 series is around the corner .... Must hold off...
I don't know about that. given that most users are not in the graphics-heavy industry (movies, CG, etc), considering gaming, 3000 series is way too expensive for the games that aren't even supported mostly nowadays. I'm not getting 3000 series for sure until I have to upgrade my entire system (CPU+mobo) since it will require a new PSU for 3000s anyways...
any thoughts anyone?
