Otherwise that's a pretty good price for the global version.
Someone mentioned in another thread that there is a rumor of a Amazfit Band 6 coming out, which is basically a Miband 5 with oxygen sensor and something else I forget. Might be worth waiting for that, might not be if it costs a lot more.

Pros:
Bigger screen
Watchfaces are improved and can now do shortcuts to other screens. Can also have clock, steps and weather showing on the same face.
Magnetic charger is better than having to take it out of the strap (and the charge cable is longer)
Sleep tracker now breaks out REM sleep, which used to be included in deep sleep,
Period tracking
Remote camera shutter built in
World Clock (though the city list is pretty poor)
Whatevers:
PAI (Personal Activity Indicator) is a gamified reminder to exercise. It takes a 10 day average of activity level, with the goal of keeping the score above 100
Stress Level Monitor (no idea how accurate this is)
Breathing Exercise - trains you to take longer, deeper breaths, or something
New Sport tracking modes (Elliptical, Yoga etc)
Cons:
No SpO2 monitor
Poor battery compared to the 3 and 4
NFC is still useless outside of China / Alipay (doesn't support google pay, for example)
Limited strap selection currently (this will probably get better over time though)
Price has crept up compared to the 4
Still uses Mi Fit app. 3rd party apps will need Mi Fit to do the initial pairing
I got mine from a seller on walmart for $40 and it was delivered in a week - I felt like the extra $5-10 compared to a chinese website was worth it rather than having to wait weeks for it to show up.
Ask anything else and I'll try to answer.
edit: I've also tried the Redmi Smart Band 4 (aka Xiaomi Band 4C) which is around $15-20 but is not as good. Really chunky watch body, screen isn't as good outdoors, time display is always 24hr, less accurate step tracking, and have to sideload the xiaomi wear app to use it. The good thing is the price, and the charger is built in (you pull off one of the straps) but the main Xiami Bands are worth the extra,
