FYI: The pizza is 18" in diameter and weighs a little over 2 pounds--maybe 34 ounces. The ones we get have a very thin crust--similar to New York-style pizza with a modest amount of sauce and cheese. It's not like Costco pizza, which has a thicker crust and a lot of cheese (over a pound).
My pizza the second week was 16" in diameter in a 16" square box. Same store as last week which gave me an 18" pizza (about 20% smaller compared to first week).
Third week pizza: Box is back to 18" and pizza is a bit over 17" in diameter and weighed 34 oz (same as first week).

Still come in giant box designed for round pizza
People complaining about this deal are out of their minds- to me, this is a solid New York style pizza that is untouchable at this price.
I got a large pie with no problems, and reheated it in my Toshiba convection toaster oven (posted a few weeks on SD). My wife and I added some toppings we got at Whole Foods (anchovies to her, prosciutto and fresh basil for me) and it was astoundingly good.
You can call ahead to place the order.
add some toppings.
The crust is thicker, the sauce/cheese/toppings don't go close to the edge of the pizza like it used to. The cheese they use seems different as well.
Still for $6, it's a pretty good deal!

Cheese is not tasty
Last week the pizza was surprisingly really good and definitely beyond my expectations. It filled the big brown box, looked good and tasted like maybe a $3 slice from a decent place in NYC. The only negative was that it had a comical amount of flour on the bottom to where the first person who ate a slice just had this huge white cloud appear after their first bite....it was like a heavily powdered donut that exploded all over their shirt.
This week...ugh...more like a $1 NYC slice that didn't fill the box, so thin in the middle it was almost see through with overcooked cheese and a meh taste. But hey, at least I didn't have to wash the flour off the bottom of this one.
Round pizza both times in 18.5"x18.5" boxes ($16 reg price)...kinda strange people are getting different sized boxes even for rounds.
Are any of you experiencing similar at your locations? Odd that they require 3 hours in the middle of a Friday to sanitize, particularly when they're running a highly popular special. This is the Ashburn location in Northern Virginia.
