Far more commercial/professional brand than most of the stuff on SD, so I'd expect it to be a bit more reliable...
but agree with above: this is super dated. I'm sure there's some niche uses, but for most people and applications this is deprecated

It looks like a great product - You'd be surprised how many peripherals operate just fine on USB2. Your keyboard, mice, adio equipment, headsets, printers, dongles, etc work over USB2. USB3 is best saved for your high-throuput devices like hard drives, cameras,etc - anything that moves larges amounts of data

Definitely pay for a 3.0 hub instead. Backwards compatible. Transfer speed is tons faster.
