Do any of the amd cpus come with onboard video like intel does?
Check here. Amds site will show you all of them if you click on model specs. They have a 8 core 16 thread ones out now that are very good in comparison with intels. https://www.amd.com/en/processors...h-graphics
I got a ryzen because the intel CPU often stuttered and froze during use; Ryzen feels smooth as butter in all application uses
Just showing what you asked for. Looks better in various areas than ryzen. I have a R9 3900x but thinking of switching due to various issues this year I keep having to deal with. Intel is far better today with compatibility with parts than ryzen. Ram is the biggest annoyance. You want fast ram for ryzen but corsair, gskill, etc dont work in 8 builds I have put together. Only crucial ballistix 3600 is stable. Intel on the other hand doesnt need fast ram and doesnt care what brand you use. Just they are stuck on an older 14nm node so they are going to be limited in certain areas.
Well the 3700x is 15% cheaper, but just slightly slower.
The question comes down to power usage I suppose.
Yes, exactly. Also 3800x has compatibility issues with ram and what ram speed you buy with ryzen affects the responsiveness alot. Intel has no issue with other brands of ram and what speed you use if its under or around 3200 mhz.
It's fairly simple, the Intel processors are best for gaming ATM since most games use a single core and that's where these processors shine, but for most other applications the additional cores and threads that you get with AMD for the same price is going to outshine Intel. Keep in mind also that this is just the 10700, not the unlocked k version, so overclocking is more limited.

Intel isn't all bad. This one is one of their best options for home desktop use.

It's a meme people who don't know what they're talking about use.
