For most people, the specs you are talking about is irreverent. 2666MHz is basically the standard when you purchase a new laptop in 2020, and ram speed only very slightly affect the speed of your overall system, most people wouldnt even feel any difference in real life usage.
i have Team Group memory for my desktop. 64gb of it and its fine. works great, nice timings, passed all the stress tests.

theres only 3 companies that make memory chips: micron, hynix, and samsung. everyone else is just putting the same chips with their own decoration on the sticks.

Dang, I think this would work in an Inspiron 15 7000 Series-7591. Kind of hard to pass this up if that is the case.

Lowest price for the 32gb kit, lifetime warranty. I dont think this price will last long. Prime savings required.

This is unusually slow RAM. 2666MHz is low-end, but CL19 for that speed is terrible.

It's the Cas Latency (CL19) that I was referring to.

Anyhow, you're still right and I actually updated my post a couple minutes ago.

Most 2666MHz laptop RAM is CL18 or so, but that's part of why this saves you $17.

True for intel based laptop. Ryzen laptop benefit from faster ram and lower cas latency

These work good to upgrade a Alienware m17 2017 with 16g installed? Never changed Ram on a laptop before. What I've read it will. Just wanna double check.

How does this compare to more established brands like OWC? My iMac just arrived yesterday.

I've heard micron is the best. I've had bad luck with Sammy chips. I guess I'll wait and see how it performs. Was thinking about splurging for lower latency... hmm.
