Thinking about an LG V50 sprint unlocked, but I hear that 4g, even 3g will be axed off in a year or something. Should I go for the LG G8 instead? Is Tello still going to be around after a year?
Also, what data saving methods and browsers should I use to conserve data? I know of opera mini.
I wish the 4GB plan would have some sort of deal. Do they on black fridays?

Edit: Just found Hello Mobile. They have a $15 for 4GB. It says special offer, so I don't know how long that will last.

Sprint network will be still around for many years because many MVNOs and govt. agencies, including enterprise IoT and smart devices, still have wireless network contracts with Sprint. Sprint as a company still exists, as a subsidiary of T-Mobile. Only the Sprint retail brand is gone on 8/2. Also, only Sprint 3G will be shut down sometime next year. hug

The purchase from StackSocial is just a code that you receive immediately and have 30 days to redeem. I don't think there is a limit to the number you purchase, as long as you are redeeming for different lines. You cannot stack two codes for a year of service.

In the past when you set up your Tello account and ordered the SIM, the StackSocial coupon also took off the $10 so the SIM was free, but in the last post about this deal, there were reports that the SIM was not free. If you already have a Sprint SIM, you can reuse it for this deal. Or you can get the SIM card from Amazon or Ebay, you just need to make sure you have the right card for your phone model.

There is not a problem moving from Mint Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile to this, is there? Does not seem to be a must port from other provider deal.
