If you want to budget soda set.. Biglots has better collection. If you wait for their 20% offers which usually comes every 2 to 3 months.. it will be a sweet deal..

Owner this same model but in brown color. Has held up quite well over 5 years. You can take off the cover both on the bottom and back pillows so you can wash them.

Been checking Slickdeals daily for Sofa deals, and we were considering this option yesterday night. Ended up deciding we'd wait for a better deal. Anyone know if sofas typically go on sale around Black Friday or labor day?

I read some reviews saying that it is a firm sofa. Over the 5 years, has it given a considerable amount, or would you still classify it as a firm sofa?

That's always the case with cushion covers.... they'll shrink if you wash them...even could if they get wet and air dry. My $1800 Ethan Allen sofa had multiple red wine spills on it (oops)...I washed the covers and stuffed the foam back in the covers.

Eventually, the covers ripped at the seams. Luckily, I picked a fabric they still made and ordered matching fabric from Ethan Allen that matched. Fabric cost was $50/yard for 5-6 yards, labor was $80 to get them recovered.... I just didn't want to waste a good sofa.

If you get this in store, you may be able to choose to have a custom fabric used at no extra charge. Macy's has a wall of 50 or so to choose from, not just the 2 listed online.
