Enjoy,
This is a win-win deal for a major upgrade (if the confirmation and early leak benchmarks are true) and for those who are on the fence about buying the game. The free GeForce NOW sub is just a cherry on top. Obviously, used market will be flooded with cheap 20 series cards. A quick look on Ebay will give you
a good $500-ish 2080 TI [wccftech.com], which was previously a $1200-ish flagship card. History repeats itself.

"...The offer will last up until October 29th, and its available at participated retailers. Word of warning though, the GeForce Now code will need to be redeemed by November 30th, and the one year period will begin from the moment its activated, so you've got a bit of wiggle room to get your RTX 3000 series set up before you make use of that code...."

Their pricing makes a lot more sense this generation. I feel bad for the ppl they took for $1200 for a 2080 that's about to be beat by a $700 3080

I believe geforcenow allows you to play on the go? Sort of like Google Stadia? All you need is an internet connection. I could be wrong tho.
I'm in the same boat as you and from what I've been reading there is no preorder. It's basically everyone bombarding the site at once
