Grabbed an open box 75" TCL 8 Series from best buy last week at $950. Excellent condition. No scratch/dent and have all the accessories.Nothing wrong with it. only box was missing.
Can anyone tell which one is better TV; Samsung Q6 vs TCL 8 Series?

I don't use more than 1, all runs through my A/V receiver however everyone's use case may be different, I'm sure for someone it may be a deal breaker.

I do. My receiver is nice, but is old enough to not support 4K. So I run the audio out from the TV to the receiver, and I never have to play with the settings on the receiver. It just plays whatever is on the TV.

I got this TV last week. I thought it was a good deal for what I looking for. Obviously this is the low end of qled but once you mess around with the settings the picture is great in 4K and especially in filmmaker mode. For global dimming I turn ambient sensor ON and leave the minimum brightness setting at 45. Trust me this will work wonders. Samsung global dimming can make you go crazy sometimes.

One question I do have is why can't I find out more info about this TV?

Hmmm Rtings doesn't seem to have this model listed. I don't know why Samsung and LG have to have 100 different models that are all slightly different

edit - is this it? https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews.../q60t-qled

This is 99% the same as Q60T. This is just the club store specific sku to prevent price matching.

Same tv. The slight difference in sku is to prevent you from price matching this at best buy/other nom club stores.

So I am in market for a 70-75 inch TV. I am looking for a budget model just for plain family viewing (TV shows, movies, occasionally sports). Can anyone suggest which TV to buy? My living room is generally on the brighter side. TIA
