I've had so many bad experiences with our deebots over the last year but they are still the best value by a longshot in the robot vacuum space

Battery Cell Type NiMH. Many owners of this unit complain of charging issues. I almost bit.

I have this model from Costco. I plan on returning it. It would constantly get lost and will have to remap the house. However, the software has gotten a lot better and doesn't get lost as often.

I went through 2 different model ecovac deebots in 2 years, would not recommend them.

The trick with robot vacuums is to buy the warranty... They break.. It's money well spent.

I think it ends up amounting to a waste of money in the end. I tried getting something cheaper but still considered "good enough" for a second vacuum, and it ended up in my garage because it just sucked. Ultimately I went with a second Roborock and it's just hassle-free and reliable. I'd rather spend a bit more money and not have to wonder whether my vacuum will finish its routine, get stuck somewhere, etc.

Yeah honestly I am leaning toward the white Roborock S6 at this point but let's see what deals appear by the end of the year
