A bit small and not sure about how many nits for the hdr. Flight sim doesn't need hz so much.
Then you do not have this model, or an older version. It does say it have a VESA 100x100 mount.
Under the additional spec details on dell's website, it does say there is VESA mounting.

Yes Lenovo Dell and HP all make 16:10 models. There are comparatively fewer models though compared with the standard 16:9 monitors

I don't think this has USB input, you have to hook it up by laptop video output. If your laptop only has USB-C then you would need to 1) make sure USB-C supports video and 2) get a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
