I was planning on getting this mouse and was only discounted $5 yesterday but now it just dropped $15 to $44.99. Just got one

I got this mouse last time it was on sale. Switching from a G502, this fits right and weighs similar (a bit lighter I think), overall the transition was easy. The only complaint I have so far is sometimes it will randomly stop working, you need to take out the battery and put it back in to make it work again, at least that's how I did it. It only happens probably once every week, so it's not a huge deal, but FYI in case you care

MX master series is more for office use/productivity, whereas this mouse is built for gaming (higher sensitivity, higher refresh rate etc)

Depends on your use. MX master is definitely more premium feeling, and it has nice features (I personally couldn't live without side scrolling). If you are just using for basic mouse tasks and gaming the Razer one is probably more than good enough

I have both. I like the Razer better. It's lighter and has better sensitivity options. Unless you need multi-device quick switching or horizontal scrolling, I think this is a better value at half the price.

Don't get the 604 if it's for gaming. The ghub software is terrible. I bought a 604 and a basilisk ultimate and returned the 604. It's a good mouse for office work but not the step up from the 602 I was hoping.
