I have other similar insulated gloves -- these look like a great deal at $9. Yes, definitely would be too hot to use in warm weather if you're doing something for more than a few minutes.

Even if you don't think you need them, if you ever drive in places where it gets cold, maybe, even snowy (I wish!), get a pair of these to throw into your emergency kit in your car/truck. If you ever are stuck in the cold, these will be great, even just to wear as warm gloves temporarily. If you have do something like change a tire, these will protect your hands. even if it's warm, in an emergency these would be tough gloves for a task like that.

EDIT: note XL may be sold-out. As I was trying to order 2 pair, it said only 1 available. I think that one processed OK.

Also, Amazon reviews are mixed but that is fairly normal. Some say "junk" and "fell apart" and others say "excellent quality." So as usual YMMV. It does sound like some people try to use wrong item for a job -- suede tends to be very soft and flexible, which is nice for many tasks. But not nearly as rugged as solid leather. I would probably not choose these to split multiple cords of wood, as some reported problems with. Plus a task like that, you will get so warm and sweaty, you probably don't want insulated gloves unless you are in Minnesota in January splitting your wood outside.

Insulated. So it might be too hot for these summer and fall months. But a good deal at $9.

The reviews and review pics are terrible. Looks like these gloves don't hold up at all.

If you're planning to use these every day for, you know, actual work, they're probably not the best choice.

Good enough for people who use them on the weekends though.
