Aldi has $1.89 for 16 oz bottles. Not planters but their own brand - salted, unsalted, cocktail, etc. which possibly comes out cheaper than this.

fyi:

"INGREDIENTS: PEANUTS, PEANUT AND/OR COTTONSEED OIL, SEA SALT."

likely contains cottonseed oil... unnecessary & unhealthy

still, thanks to op for intent and effort!

They changed something and made it complicated to subscribe if your subscriptions are empty. Once you've established the first subscription it's simple to add more, but for that first one they want to ship it immediately and charge shipping.

When it happened to me I found that I could fix the problem by subscribing to one of their recommended products on the subscriptions page and then delete that once I had established the other subscriptions I wanted.

I'll pay .27 cents more for free shipping, 3 ozs more peanuts and not having to deal with some jerk who doesn't think he needs to wear a mask.

YMMV, my Aldi has the 16oz. cans for $1.99 so this Amazon deal for 35oz. is a bit cheaper.

What defines cocktail peanut versus lightly salted?

Whenever a peanut deal comes up, I search back in my amazon account for the last time I ordered peanuts and a deal from like May 2019 keeps showing up where it was like $3.50 for 44oz of "happy belly" roasted peanuts... so like $1.25/pound. It looks like that price was kind of an absurd one-off, but I have no idea what is a good price for peanuts anymore now!
