I paid $13 for mine a few months ago. They really don't get very loud. Music sounds great, bass is good but could be better.
All in all I would buy them again

You have to charge it 3 hours to get 5 hours of playtime? That doesn't seem efficient.

They both clearly have 7 hours of playtime, where are you seeing 5?

I charged mine for an hour yesterday and listened to them for 3 hours. They still have charge.
But they usually charge to full in about 2+ hours and last 6 to 8 hours for me

So I got some similar earphones recently (Sony, but similar) and I really don't like them. They have great reviews, but the "microphonics" of these in-ear phones drive me nuts. It feels like I'm wearing a stethoscope and every little bump on the cord is maddening to me. Is that common with this type of earphone? I'm going to have to go back to regular headphones or cheap earbuds.

Maybe just the Sony or whatever ones you got. I use these mainly for conference calls and they sound about the same as wired earbuds. Cannot say the same with those cheaper true wireless buds..

I get that effect with all of the rubber cone style buds. Upside is they block outside noise better, like a lawnmower. Downside is I "hear" the wire. Having used various sets over the last 15ish years, I can ignore it now.

How are these compared to something such as the sony extra bass earphones (mdr-xb50ap)?
