(probability of winning*$arv of xbox)*3codes < $0.35.
just curious if people think that the added probability of winning by sending in a post card early outweighs the cost of postage. mostly just a curiosity thing about what other people think.

The Eclipse sweep had approx 5,450 units, This Series X sweep has approx 4,050. Looking at standard purchase to enter methods that the average consumer would likely do to participate, the Eclipse codes cost approx $5 for the box with the code. This current sweep soda cup codes technically can be bought for as little as $1. Eclipse sweep only allowed 1 code entry a day. Series X sweep allows up to 3 codes a day.
So this current sweep has less prizes available with a much lower cost to enter, and also higher potential amount of entries per person available on top of that. So statistically worse odds vs last years xbox sweep. :-(
But it is still fun to play and I hope many slickers win. I still remember getting started on all this when the first xbox one came out and there was ebay style auctions with points. I helped others here and gave away leftover point codes too. Was great to see lots of us here 'win' one!

As for this promotion, the chance of winning may be better actually. The dynamics the pandemic presents and the marketing on cups vs. a box with a giant branding and marketing print, mean that it's difficult to know. You also have to consider that because you can enter 3 times per day, that means people will try to enter more frequently and get burnt out faster, and decide to quit.
There is incredible complexity to it and innumerable variables you don't know, so while superficially it might appear your chance is worse, it may be better. By the way, it's still every 15mins, so while there are fewer to win, your odds in terms of that are identical for any given play, you just couldn't have a chance for as long as the previous promotion.
Also I agree with other posts this year is more watered down.
But we will have few winners here...Not as many me thinks.
4 winners per hour vs 6 per hour last year.

As for the every2minutes. Doritos is rumored to be doing a call of duty promotion based on leaked packaging. It's unlikely they'd do two separate promotions in tandem

So I doubt 3 at the same time. Whats the Call of Duty one?
