I got this one as a spare for the grandparents... honestly it doesn't sut flush on the rear (front facing) bench so you have to really tighten it in. There are two nubs that can make the seating position more angled but they really just dig further into the seat.
Great car seat, seems safe, its wide and comfortable with good harness clips but I would NOT install in in my car
My 2 cents.
Oh and only 2 of these will fit in the rear seat... with no room for a third passenger

Any recs on something that does sit flush. Seems to be difficult to find

As a project, all the side impact plastic can be removed from the inboard side of most car seats if cuts are made cleanly. Then it's a devoted passenger side seat, however.
