Are you indicating that having no heel-toe drop is a good thing? What is the significance of heel-toe drop generally speaking?
Zero heel drop means that the heel and ball of the foot are the same height. Most shoes are like 8mm rise for the heel so it puts you forward more. It's better or worse depending on who you are. Regular shoes kill may ankles, knees, and back after running for just a mile or so. These shoes will wear the heck out of your calves and feel a little wonky until you get used to them so you should start by walking for a while and get used to them. I love my altras but I have the ones with a lot less cushion or stack height to them as well. If you find you have joint problems and you aren't overweight or have other reasons to be, give a try. If regular shoes treat you well, keep with the norm.
I got them few months back for the same price as a backup pair. My first pair are still kicking with mileage - 350 miles + 👍(mostly running).
Very comfortable cushion with lot of room around fingers(you won't feel squished, so go for long hour use). I would recommend this to people who have supination and do heel strike first while running.

Altras have a foot-shaped for box so that your toes have more room to splay out when your run also.
