If you get tired of seeing the "Time and Weather is running" notification:
Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all apps -> 3 dots menu -> Show system -> Time and Weather -> Notifications -> uncheck "Time and Weather" only
The time/weather widget still functions properly but the stupid notification goes away.

It is potentially fraught with a myriad of Visible "gotchas" and there don't appear to be any conclusive answers to questions, just mere supposition based solely on someone's previous experience.
In my personal opinion I don't think it is a worthwhile risk to take.
And we are talking about port-in requirements right now. Do not mix things up. Do you have FACTS to support your claim that you won't be charged without port-in? Definitely no because this is a new scenario and no past reference you can look at. You can only support your claim if you wait another month and see if you're charged or not.
Cheap id**ts are going to challenge promotion terms without any reference/support, especially with visible, with intention to save $3.
Stop posting your OPINION that you have no FACTS to support and mislead people.
I guess you keep posting just because you didn't choose port-in when your placed your order, and now you want to mislead more people to be on the same boat, hoping that visible will budge because so many people are on the wrong boat. Silly.
