If you get tired of seeing the "Time and Weather is running" notification:
Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all apps -> 3 dots menu -> Show system -> Time and Weather -> Notifications -> uncheck "Time and Weather" only
The time/weather widget still functions properly but the stupid notification goes away.

Many apps really struggle with 2GB of RAM making the phone feel quite sluggish at times. Switching between apps is far from instant in many cases.
