Doesn't it get moldy then? I don't get any bath toys that allow water inside. It's a recipe for disaster. Especially little kids who like to chew on everything and/or spray bath water in their mouth.
As soon as you get it, hot glue gun the holes,

Are these rubber toys? And are they fully sealed? Or cleanable?

They are not sealed and have cavity to fill with water. My daughter sprays the water by squeezing this all around. Definitely worth this price.

I recently found out about this and sure enough one of our soft rubbery squishy toys ended up with black mold inside. We kept up with it by squeezing any water out but inevitably it happened. I would say unless you're steam cleaning it and/or vinegar sanitizing it (or other disinfectant) bath toys are a recipe for disaster.

Just do this method to clean, works just fine (if you do this after each bath and never let them sit with stagnant water inside they will never get that way, nor those little dark spots that appears to come from the inside out).

Although I do like the idea of hot gluing the holes I noticed above by kevmo, never tried that but it surely wouldn't hurt a try! I might suggest if you're handy, use some epoxy the kind you mix, so it's a little more flexible than the dry hot glue... wouldn't condensation still cause the mold?

All-in-all the fun in these for kids is actually the water-gun like squirt, that isn't possible if you block it, so maybe just clean more frequently and don't clog the holes!

Just buy a bunch of measuring cups instead. Cheap, easy to clean and no mold worry's. My kid loves splashing herself with them. I get the visuals these provide, but you're severely underestimating your child's creativity.

Even better, your Tide laundry (or whatever brand) comes with a plastic cup which we all throw away. I happen to give it to my toddler and he was all into it. Now he uses that to splash around. Cost zero and saved a landfill
