Good deal, but there is no Microcenter store near me. Bought a regular one for 385 (with tax) a few days ago.

About 25% bench increase from 5 2600.
But just about 1/3 the price from 2600 at 140

Seeing this is YMMV and one at Microcenter at that
you're much better off going for AMDs line of cpus.

$399 for 3900x $20 more at $429 for the 3900xt.I was looking at the 3900xt forsure but I went with this as I'm mainly gaming and intel does that better most of the time from my research. (I am not an expert just looked at benchmarks and read up online)

I purchased online with in store pickup. As soon as u pick it up, they email you the code. This wasn't the case when I bought the same processor 2 weeks ago. ended up return/rebuying so I can get the game

Luckily I picked up a i5-10600k a week ago, walked in got the i7-10700k as an exchange, paid the 50 difference and had the game code emailed to me a few minutes after purchase. still havnet used it but i did get the email.
