I bought these in store a couple of weeks ago. Quality seems amazing for $25 per unit. The battery life is about 45-60 minutes of on time before needing a recharge (about 1 hour). Beware that the the turning radius is pretty bad on these (about 7 ft. for a full circle). However, I don't have too much experience with RC cars to compare them to anything else. The tires are rubber and pretty grippy, but after breaking them in, you can do donuts easily. Mario and Luigi will lean into the turns which is a nice touch.

Great deal, but the (admittedly MUCH more expensive) Mario Kart Live is coming out next month. Let's you race the RC karts in augmented reality. Pretty cool idea.
