Great deal OP! But just a crappy company Laview. But Newegg is good. Laview canceled my order and no response on the reason why last year and they did this to several customers. Now using reolink at 5 different business and working great.

The bonus devices aren't a physical thing you get, this is a non ip camera system but it can record to dvr from two IP sources as a "bonus"

Used LaView on my ranch but have moved to Reolink for cost effective camera systems with Well supported iOS/Android app. Spend the extra or wait for a reolink deal... as research look up the reviews of the multiple LaView apps.

LaView is a really good system for NVR only. Based on Hikvision. Only 2 real major manufacturers Hikvision and Duhua. Almost all are rebranded with custom firmware. Reolink says you cannot use any other cameras. You can however use any open camera with LaView. I have a system in my office and 4 oem cameras and 2 open. Works great. Just need to make sure you understand technology some setting fps and other features.

You can sell the extra DVR, this is not an NVR system. Any cameras should work with the bnc on this DVR so it can be used without the 4 it came with.

I bought three of these systems. I'm happy with them. You can use extra cameras since it's 8 channel. Whether anyone will buy the dvr I dunno

Can you please share which Reolink system(s) you recommend? I have a standalone wireless solar-powered Reolink camera and definitely like the app so I'm wondering if I should get a full-fledged surveillance system from them.

I came here partly to badmouth this product/company, and partly to find out if anyone has found a alternative firmware or something that makes the web ui on this nvr useful. If youre going to connect this to a tv for surveilance and dont intend to view remotely, then i suppose its a pretty good system, but the web ui uses flash and no modern browser has a plugin for video. The software is glitchy and its not intuitive how to set things up, or what will even work if you do. Laview must have at least a half dozen mobile apps for android. None of them work well
