Looks like this one has a better GPU and yours had a larger SSD (1TB vs. 512GB). SSDs are upgrade-able for fairly cheap and GPUs... aren't... so I'd say this one is the better deal. Otherwise they seem quite similar.

Build quality is supposedly better in G5. G3's are considered Dell's budget systems. Anyways, this is a better deal since you are getting a better GPU for lower price.

Usually the SSD drive will come with a software to duplicate the drive. I have done several SSD upgrades on many of my business laptops over the last years with great success.

Many laptop mobos of 2020 have two m.2 slots so cloning the drive should be easy, then change boot drive order or swap positions.
