Abbott recently announced they have a $5 coronavirus test that is 97% accurate... WSJ likened it to being as convenient as a home pregnancy test. I don't know how useful the test or a vaccine will be, considering there's already talk of it mutating... but just keep in mind that something like this might not be worth buying "just in case" for later on.

I can see justification for this if you own a business, maybe. Or if you are a teacher with your own classroom. But teachers often have laminating machines they can use, and could easily make something similar themselves...
