18v batteries are quite large to carry around but it is still great deal if you happen to be on their 18v platform and be able to use one of these sizes=. (Not the most common.) You could probably also adapt any other 18 volt system to work with this.

If this would 12 volts and a normal size, I would buy it and adapt it to my Bosch 12v batteries.

I get that switching brands is fine, but do those heating elements work with a lower voltage?

Wow this is actually pretty innovative. They actually made this functional for everyday usage. Pretty cool. Not sure what the side effects are but heat rash and dry skin could increase?

I will hold out for a corded one! Doubles as a straight jacket on a leash!

Does anyone know if you can use some sort of barrel to USB connector in order to use a power bank?

This took me back...back to the future 2! When are we getting the self drying feature?

Also, saw some comments on needing hand warmers built in. This would be the best snowball fight jacket ever with hand warmers.

I got one. I don't have a basis of comparison (never owned a heated jacket), but it heats up damned fast, and gets pretty warm too! I used it in a heavy downpour and the water eventually began seeping in, so that's a bummer, but still worth it I think especially if you buy a can of waterproofing spray, and waterproof that sucka up!
