The $5 credit will be displayed at checkout to your next qualifying purchase of items shipped from and sold by Amazon.com. Your credit expires on December 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. (PT)

Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible".

A word of advice: when buying Amazon gift cards, make sure you apply them immediately to your account (preferably, right on the spot); otherwise, you are risking to have the gift card redemption code stolen (happens more often than you may think and if it does, you'll lose your money).

I thought recently there was an issue where coinstar was miscounting by 10 percent?

Thanks for posting this offer. I don't think I qualify though. In reading through the terms it says "Offer limited to the first time a customer gets an Amazon.com Gift Card claim code at a physical location." I have redeemed coins for an Amazon gift card once before although it has been years. Not sure how this gets recorded but it seems I can't get it. Thumbs up and repped anyhow because I think it was a good offer for you to have shared.

its more likely its a redeem code that is limited to 1 per acct (kind of like a discount code, I would assume)

Thank you. Probably right and it wouldn't hurt to try anyway since I have the change around the house and Coinstar available at a store we frequent.

"Offer limited to the first time a customer gets an Amazon.com Gift Card claim code at a physical location."

Does this mean that if you've ever exchanged coins for an Amazon gift card in the past, you're ineligible?

Theres no way they would know you aren't a new customer. It prints a code.

Amazon is smart. I just saw a listing on my Craigslist "coin shortage, will pay an extra 20%" just yesterday. Amazon is about to make BANK! I bet when it's all said and done amazon is banking on a 35-40% upside
Not Amazon. Coinstar does collect coins.

Don't forget to bring extra coins the machine miscount sometimes.
