You probably get enough vitamin C for the day if you eat: an orange, a cup of strawberries, red pepper, broccoli, etc. But it's also unlikely you're going to get too much as long as you're not into the thousands of mgs. Your body just filters and excretes the excess.

150mg is fine.. there is a point of diminishing return in terms of vitamin c absorption/plasma saturation (which is around 150mg to 200mg). vitamin c is water soluble and has a short half life so instead of taking 500mg to 1g (which is common) once per day, it would be more ideal to split into smaller doses throughout the day.
