I use an optical drive, as do many people.
If I had a nickel for each time someone said "no one uses optical drives these days..." I would be a millionaire! Plenty of folks still use one!
Yes we do! Plenty of us still use the optical drive!

3080 isn't bigger than it's predecessor. the 3090 on the other hand, is a different animal.

No issue fitting, but I'd opt for something with a mesh front or side panel fans since the new Ampere cards are very power hungry.

Amazon has the Corsair Carbide 200R [amazon.com] for $10 off.

I just picked up the 200r for $65 and wondering if I should get this one. Thoughts?

I've been building pcs using the Corsair 175R. That's a better case for the same price.

Get the 175r. The 200r is nice but no one uses optical drives these days. The cut outs for the drives makes it look old.

I use one still for bd backups/makemkv. That's why I was thinking of the 110q.not sure it's worth returning, the 200r for $5 difference, though.

Only comes with a single 120mm fan, be prepared to buy at least 2 more. It says supports 4 x 120mm fans, but I don't see where #4 goes..

Airflow on these are meh, but should be fine for standard usage as long as you don't have a hot/huge GPU and not overclocking. Also skip for AIO cooler usage, the only place to mount would be the front, but then you wouldn't be able to use intake fans.

5.25 bay for optical drive will probably go unused 90% of the time, but those than need/like optical will be happy to have it.

Honestly this seems like a $40 case to me that is $60 because of the Corsair name.

update - take a peek

It looks like the 3.5 internal HDD bay might be removable, this could be nice if you have a standard (non modular) power supply and need somewhere to put cables.

To get the #4 fan in (3 in front) probably means removing the HDD bay. Hope you didn't have any 3.5 drives to use...
