Does it update it self? Thanks !
AirPods Pro have a wireless case, so you can set the case on any Qi charger to charge it wirelessly.
The case can also be charged by plugging in a Lightning cord.

If paired with an Ios device, yes they update automatically with no user intervention or notification.
But still I'm hesitating.... That's a good chunk of change for something that I don't even know if they'll fit well in my ears. I mean, I could return them if they fall out a lot, but that just seems like a big waste of my time on something I could end up returning.
For some reason everyone always comes in with this comment. Yes, surprisingly, rechargeable batteries don't last forever. Any device you buy with a rechargeable battery cannot be expected to last more than 3 to 5 years. Yes, these are tiny, and as with all other wireless headphones the batteries are not replaceable.
Easiest solution is to purchase AppleCare for $30 so that you can get a replacement when the battery life starts to degrade. Or stick with your wired headphones.
Honestly i never looked into replacing batteries in small earbuds. That being said, these are one of the most expensive earbuds in the market so i see your concern. I also think they are currently the best overall in terms of everything you get. Not the best in one category but just as a whole package. I use the hell out of my airpod pros, but if you use them alot and enjoy them they will be worth the money.

I wasted many hundreds of dollars on all sorts of wireless earbuds, these are the only ones that I can have in my ear for longer than 30 minutes without pain or any level of discomfort. Have worn for hours without slightest issue. Give em a shot. (This is the only apple product I own)
