*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I think the promotion ended on 9/30. If you added a new line, you got 50% off a OnePlus 8 which comes about to $350. Then you could also apply a Type 3 Insider Hookup code to get a $200 rebate card if you purchased any T-Mobile 5G phone.

Thx. The price now is $600. I added a free line on 9/24. Do you have 14 days to get the promotion for the new line? I probably couldn't do insider hookup type 3 since I already have type 1 on the account. Thanks. Repped.

When did you apply the Type 1? I also had the 20% off Insider Hookup from last year and was still able to use a Type 3 code.

I'm not sure about the 14 days.

Yes this. You do have to pay tax on $700, but its still a great deal.

you should still be able to get the 50% off, but I believe the hookup expired at the end of the month

you cant do multiple insiders during the same insider promo period. but you can do multiple insiders when different periods except when requiring new customers.

also, you have 30 days from activation for TMO EIP. not 14. however, i use 14 days just in case. its safer.

yes. but ive never tested this myself. i usually use the 14 day rule and decide ASAP, because i hate wasting time following up. so i get in on any device promos ASAP so the T&Cs are still fresh and valid. its much more complicated to lookup past promos and try to get them applied.

in your case, maybe some device promos are over, but were valid on 9/24. then you gotta try to dig up some info on it, but any promos should auto apply after you add the device to your account.

For anyone who got the OnePlus 8 for 50% off at $699 it might be worth to try to get a price adjustment since it has dropped to $599. I was able to get a $100 account credit yesterday through chat.

The business customer rep I talked to this morning (have Magenta for Biz) said a line is considered new (from promo perspective) for 45 days since the day of activation. People who have been with TMo, like u, may know better, but that's what she told me. Thx

Maybe a dumb question, can I use the SIM from the free line in my cellular iPad? T-Mobile store associate told me no because iPad needs a data only SIM, that doesn't seem to make sense as the added line has data. I already tried and there is signal, and my account shows the iPad associated with this line, but is T-Mobile going to do anything if I use the SIM this way?

The 14 day is the buyer's remorse period. Not sure if it's 45 days (or longer) but TMO Exec office said that I could still add an EIP new line phone deal (it was around 45 days at that time) to my account if the phone deal was active the date I added the line, AND the phone deal promo was still active.

EDIT: they offered me the new line phone deal on August 13th, on lines I set up on June 25 and June 28. Not sure which, but the June 25 would put it past 45 days. I'm sure it's not an omission on their part, as they reached out to me regarding it.
