Razer is offering a $20 discount on their Opus wireless headphones for a pre-tax price of $179.99 using coupon code "CNETNYOPUS10". Offer expires September 19.

I've never tried the headphones but they are well reviewed by RTINGS [rtings.com], though some people may miss the low frequency/bass found in WH-1000XM3 and others.

It seems like these headphones are more for general use like the Sony WH-1000XM3s. Any headphone wired are just fine for low-latency sound.

Since these are advertised as 'gaming wireless' headphones, RTINGs has noted that due to the high latency via bluetooth connection, that these headphones are not great for wireless gaming, which these headphones are advertised as.

Oh yeah. Only giving 10% off now, which seems like it should based on code. Perhaps it was a glitch earlier. I'll update the post.

yes, believe Razer doesn't market this as a gaming headset.
have tried them and they are very comfy and would say similar to the bose qc35.
under $200 (even more at 180!) this is a bargain if you are looking for ANC headphones to help you focus on your work.

There's no mention of gaming anywhere on the product page
