Honest question- how does everyone feel about the whole Facebook login thing?
Not happy about it, but I figure someone will jailbreak the Quest before it matters much. It's made me more cautious about investing more in their game store, especially since I can play most of the games I care about on Steam via Virtual Desktop. Having a few games to demo with friends/family is all that really matters, so what I've got and maybe Beatsaber is all that's really needed. Plus, I have a VR-capable laptop, and I can always take that when needed.
Then again, I created a new Facebook account instead of reactivating my old one, and it's a ghost town account. There's nothing for them to learn except that I have a daughter, which is readily available information, anyway. So connecting it isn't a complete impossibility.
Facebook has been shown to be one of the least trustable with user data, but I don't give them much data, anyway. They already have my Quest data if they want to know what games I play. I guess they could look at my VR pr0n history or something? Most of the VR stuff is still kind of boring these days, anyway, as it's all restricted POV stuff. No creativity!
If Facebook flags your account, you lose all Oculus purchases and potentially get a unusable device
Maybe it'll keep people from being a dick on facebook? Idk, I have a facebook but havent posted anything on it in years so it really doesnt bother me at all.

But is that the only issue? IPD ranges? Doesn't track as well? Launches with only 72 fps to be upgraded later.
I'll be happy with my current one for now. Wouldn't be surprised to see a pro model next year.
